Well Cleaning

Biofouling, bacterial growth, and deposit formation on well casings, pumps, screens, gravel packs, and in the aquifer can lead to a multitude of mechanical and water quality issues which include slug release of metals at start-up, reduced flow rates, increased turbidity, microbiologically induced and under-deposit corrosion, greater treatment requirements, higher downstream disinfection byproducts, and distribution system corrosion.

Chemically break-up and remove the biofouling and accumulated deposits with
Clearitas 401 and 410.  The product can be used alone or for added effectiveness can be paired with traditional Bleach and Glycolic Acid (pH lowering*)  to aggressively break down the deposits and fouling that block water flow through screens, gravel packs, and aquifers.  Clearitas 401 and 410 are NSF 60, NSF G4, and Kosher certified.  These products are also appropriate for use in organic certified facilities.

*pH adjustment of Bleach and Clearitas solutions can evolve chlorine gas if not performed according to instruction.
